Head-to-Head
📊 All seven meetings between these two sides have come in the Champions League, with City winning four of them. In Manchester, the English side have hosted PSG three times without dropping a point. The most recent encounter, though, went to PSG. In January 2025 at the Parc des Princes, City led by two goals - Grealish and Haaland both scored - before the Parisians hit back with four in a row to win 4-2. Gianluigi Donnarumma was in goal for PSG that night. The Italian now plays for City, while Dembélé and João Neves, who scored two of PSG's goals that evening, have remained in Paris.

Manchester City: Maresca’s Perfect Start and the Verdict Behind the Scenes
Enzo Maresca has made a perfect start at City in the Premier League. Six wins from six matches, equalling the best managerial start in the league's history. City have 18 points and sit top, with their nearest challengers Arsenal three points behind. The last time the club lost was on 16 August - the Community Shield, against the same Arsenal side. Since then, City have won eight matches in a row.
That run was not interrupted by the verdict handed down at the end of September. An independent commission found City guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules, and the club have appealed. The first match after the verdict was an away trip to Anfield. The score remained level for an hour, but after Gravenberch was sent off, City scored three times and beat Liverpool 3-0. After the match, Maresca explained his composure simply: what happens off the pitch is beyond his control, so there is no point in worrying about it.

PSG: The European Champions Are Chasing Their Own Early Form
The two-time European champions are still making up for a poor start to the season. They lost the Trophée des Champions to Lens, and picked up just two points from their first three Ligue 1 matches. Luis Enrique's side took their first step back up in the Champions League, thrashing Slovan, and have won four consecutive matches since that evening. The gap remains, though: with 11 points, PSG are sixth, three behind leaders Monaco.
Ahead of the Manchester fixture, Luis Enrique rotated his squad for Saturday's match against Le Mans. Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz, Zaïre-Emery and Kvaratshelia all started on the bench. A Lucas Beraldo penalty put PSG ahead, but Le Mans levelled after the break. Enrique then brought on all four, and within a couple of minutes Kvaratskhelia converted the rebound after Kocik had saved Fabián Ruiz's effort. Maghnes Akliouche then scored for the first time for his new club, and PSG won 3-1.

⚽️ Goals prediction
At least three goals have been scored in 11 of City's last 12 home matches. The most recent example was September's meeting with Sunderland, where the two sides combined for eight goals. PSG's picture is similar: more than two goals in 6 of their last 7 matches before the trip to Manchester. Clean sheets are rare for the Parisians - they have conceded in 10 of their last 11 matches. So on Wednesday we're expecting no fewer than three goals. The bet is Total Goals - Over 2.5.
🚩 Corners prediction
Fewer than 11 corners have been recorded in nine consecutive PSG matches. Away from home that run is even longer - 11 matches. Luis Enrique's side win plenty of corners themselves while giving very little away to opponents. Over their last 10 official matches, PSG have won 58 corners to their opponents' 19. City's ratio over the same span is 55 to 37. We're expecting no more than ten corners. The bet is Total Corners - Under 10.5.
🟨 Yellow cards prediction
City have received more than two yellow cards in just one of their last 12 matches - the away trip to Porto, where Maresca's side picked up three bookings. On Sunday at Anfield, City managed with two yellows. Over their last 10 official matches, the English side have received 14 yellow cards. PSG's opponents over the same span have been shown 23. Even accounting for that, we're not expecting City to pick up more than two bookings. The bet is Manchester City Team Total Yellow Cards - Under 2.5.
🚀 Player stat bet
One goal on Wednesday would make Erling Haaland City's outright all-time top scorer in the Champions League. The Norwegian currently has 36 goals in the competition for the club - level with Sergio Agüero. Both of Haaland's goals in this season's competition came in Porto. The first was a header from an Enzo Fernández lofted ball, the second a close-range finish in added time. At Anfield, Doku's shot hit a defender and Haaland immediately put the ball in the net. The bet is Haaland to Score.
😱 Risky bet
City have scored in 24 consecutive home matches. PSG have been held scoreless just once in their last 37 games. But in seven consecutive head-to-head meetings, City have managed a maximum of two goals. PSG exceeded that mark on one occasion - in January 2025. A 2-2 draw is a natural extension of that pattern. An exact score is harder to call than any other outcome. The bet is Correct Score 2-2 at 9.00*.
🎯 Reliable bet
PSG have not scored more than two goals away from home in eight consecutive matches. In Rennes, Lille and Marseille, the Parisians stopped at two. Three or more goals this season for PSG have come only at home - against Slovan and Le Mans. Any scoreline in which PSG are limited to two goals will do, including a 2-2 draw. The bet is PSG Team Total - Under 2.5 at 1.21*.
👀 If the match doesn't go to plan
We're expecting an open game in which PSG don't lose. The main threat to that scenario is an early goal for the hosts. City have scored before half-time at home in 22 of their last 24 matches. If the English side take the lead, PSG will be forced to open up, giving Haaland and Doku space to run in behind. In that case, keep an eye in-play on a City win and two or more goals for the hosts.

📌 Editorial Prediction
PSG have gone ten matches unbeaten in the Champions League. That run includes the spring final against Arsenal, which was decided on penalties. The Parisians have also lost just two of their last 14 away matches. But City under Maresca have yet to drop points in the Premier League. So we are not predicting a home win - we expect PSG to leave Manchester with at least a draw. Our bet is PSG not to lose. Predicted score: 2-2.
