Arbitrage Calculator: how to lock in a guaranteed profit

An arbitrage opportunity (also called a surebet) appears when odds at different bookmakers let you cover every outcome of a match and still come out ahead. It sounds too good to be true, but these situations do happen. They pop up most often in smaller leagues and in live betting, when the lines at different sportsbooks drift apart.

How do you check for an arb? Add the inverse odds together: 1/odds1 + 1/odds2. If the total is below 1, you have an arbitrage. Say one book offers 2.15 on the home side and another has 2.05 on the away. The math: 1/2.15 + 1/2.05 = 0.465 + 0.488 = 0.953. That's under 1, meaning you can split your stakes and lock in roughly 4.7% profit no matter what happens.

Enter the odds and the total amount you want to put down. The calculator distributes your money across outcomes so that the payout is the same regardless of which side wins. You'll see how much to stake on each outcome, what the payout will be, and your guaranteed profit. If profit shows up in red, there's no arb and the margin belongs to the bookmaker.

Use the three-outcome mode for football markets that include the draw. For tennis, basketball, and other sports without a draw, the two-outcome mode is the one you need. Odds are accepted in any format.
