    Taylor Fritz Player Overview

Taylor has redeemed himself after a disappointing clay-court Grand Slam. Now, he's reached the semifinals, this time on grass. Does he deserve it? Most likely, yes. Although Fritz's level of tennis was questionable at times, he consistently came out on top.

The American began the tournament with two five-setters, effectively undergoing a baptism by fire. Both Mpetshi-Perricard and Diallo are powerful and hard-hitting players, but Taylor admirably withstood the challenge, holding firm on his serve. The subsequent rounds were less challenging, as his opponents failed to put up significant resistance. Let's delve a bit deeper into the match against Khachanov.

Karen was far from victory, but hope lingered. Yes, Fritz swiftly took the first two sets, but just as quickly lost the third. Moreover, at the start of the fourth set, Khachanov broke serve, making a fifth set seem within reach. However, at 2-1, a break-back occurred. The match officially concluded in a tiebreak. It wasn't perfect tennis from the American, but he emerged victorious once again. Fritz dropped serve three times, fired 16 aces, and won 81 percent of points on his first serve. The second serve proved problematic, yielding only 58 percent of points.

    Carlos Alcaraz Player Overview

The Spaniard is confidently advancing towards yet another Grand Slam final. Carlos, though still very young, is already a legend. His level of technical and psychological preparation is simply astonishing. The tennis player's nerves of steel were on full display in the Roland Garros final, and they will undoubtedly shine again. Rest assured.

While Jannik Sinner found himself in a challenging match against Grigor Dimitrov, Carlitos has had a straightforward journey through the tournament draw. Mentioning the match against Fognini might seem humorous, as there were hardly any difficulties there. Dropping a set to Struff was more of a routine occurrence. The only one who could truly test the favorite was Andrey Rublev, and perhaps he did, but only on a local level. Alcaraz pulled through that match as well, seemingly without even engaging fully.

As we anticipated, there was no contest in the quarterfinals either. Cameron Norrie seemed more exhausted than defeated before even stepping onto the court. The Brit had little to surprise his formidable opponent with, especially after playing five sets in the previous round. Surprisingly, Alcaraz won only 33 percent of points on his second serve but captured 89 percent on his first, served with 72 percent accuracy, and saved all five break points he faced. Nearly perfect; in this case, the second serve didn't matter.

    Editorial Prediction

We all understand the dynamics at play for a victory here. Taylor has never won a set against Alcaraz in his career. Are there chances now? Highly unlikely. We haven't seen flawless tennis from Fritz in this tournament, and that's exactly what's needed against Carlitos. The American has been too forgiving with his mistakes; he nearly let Khachanov take it to a fifth set despite leading 2-0. Such lapses won't fly in the upcoming match. Alcaraz, as expected, is tapping into his inner reserves during crucial games, making minimal errors and staying incredibly focused. We don't see any chances for Taylor Fritz here. Our bet is on Carlos Alcaraz to win with a set handicap of (-2.5).
