- Two of Braga's new signings will miss the match against Gil Vicente - defensive midfielder Tommy Marques and forward Jovan Milošević. Their absence is down to league regulations. Both players were signed after the match's original date (the fixture was originally scheduled for 16 August), and because neither was eligible to play at that point, the rules require them to sit out the rescheduled date as well. The absence of Marques and Milošević cannot be called critical, but they could have provided an option from the bench. The regulations leave Braga's coaching staff working with limited resources.
