Andrew Brunette's squad continue their dismal journey. In their last 10 games, the Predators have suffered eight defeats, managing to secure victories only against Toronto (5-2) and Carolina (3-1). However, these results no longer have any impact. The club lost its playoff hopes long ago and is merely playing out their disappointing season. Their gamble on numerous summer free-agent acquisitions hasn't paid off at all, so the management will have to find solutions to the situation once again this summer. It's quite likely that the coaching staff are in their final days.
