Arsenal endured a dismal end to the season, finishing 13th-fortunate, really, that they managed to pick up occasional draws along the way. Attacking players Dmitry Kamenshchikov and Evgeny Voronin have both left the club at the end of their contracts, contributing just two goals between them in the spring. Andrey Nikitin has joined from Neftekhimik to bolster the left wing, but he managed only two goals and one assist during the same stretch.
