Al-Nasr have proven to be a tough matchup for Al-Wasl
📊 Over the last few years, Al-Nassr and Al-Wasl have met four times, with the Saudi club holding a clear advantage. Al-Nassr have won three of those meetings, while the UAE side have come out on top just once. The most memorable encounter was their most recent meeting, in April 2026, when the two sides met in the AFC Champions League Two quarter-finals and Al-Nassr ran out emphatic 4-0 winners.
Head-to-head statistics Al Nassr - Al-Wasl

Al-Nassr are on a great run of form
Al-Nassr have made a confident start to the new season and continue to establish themselves as one of Saudi Arabia's strongest clubs. After ten rounds of the Pro League, the team have 25 points and sit second in the table, behind only Al-Hilal, who have 27. Their recent results have been particularly encouraging: Al-Nassr go into the upcoming match on the back of four consecutive wins across all competitions, showing excellent form. In the previous league round, Al-Nassr had little trouble beating Al-Fayha away from home, winning comfortably 3-1.
In the AFC Champions League, things are somewhat more modest so far. After two matchdays, Al-Nassr have three points and sit eighth among the 16 participants. It is still too early to draw any firm conclusions, though, as the tournament is only just getting under way. Moreover, in the second matchday the Saudi club produced a quality performance, beating Neftchi convincingly 3-1.
Match Results: Al Nassr

Al Wasl have made a strong start to the season
Al-Wasl can also point to a strong start to the new season. The club have won five of their last six matches across all competitions and have been producing some convincing results. After six rounds of the UAE league, they have 13 points and sit third in the table, just one point behind the leaders. In their most recent match, Al-Wasl faced Ittihad Kalba in the Round of 16 of the UAE President's Cup. Despite being favourites, they found it hard going and were even forced to come from behind in extra time. But they came through on penalties - 2-2 after extra time, 4-3 on penalties - and that is what matters most.
In the AFC Champions League, Al-Wasl have had mixed fortunes so far. Like Al-Nassr, they have three points from two matches. In their previous game, the UAE side hosted another Saudi heavyweight in Al-Ahli and lost 1-3. However, that scoreline does not fully reflect what happened on the pitch. Al-Wasl were competitive and at least matched their opponents in terms of attacking organisation. The hosts controlled possession for 63% of the match compared to Al-Ahli's 37%, looked to play on the front foot and impose their own style. Even so, the higher individual quality of the Saudi club ultimately proved decisive.
Match Results: Al-Wasl
⚽️ Goals Prediction
Matches involving Al-Nassr and Al-Wasl regularly produce plenty of goals. Both sides have powerful attacks but are far from reliable defensively. The statistics back this up: Total Goals - Over 2.5 has landed in 12 of Al-Nassr's last 14 matches and in 8 of Al-Wasl's last 9. The odds on this selection are 1.45*.
🚩 Corners Prediction
Al-Nassr are the stronger side in terms of individual quality and will also be playing at home. We expect the Saudi club to take control from the first minutes, attack more and put sustained pressure on Al-Wasl's defence. That scenario should give the hosts an advantage in corners won. Our bet is Al-Nassr to win the corners with a handicap of -1.5.
🟨 Yellow Cards Prediction
Al-Nassr's opponents frequently pick up a high number of bookings, as stopping the Saudi club's technical and quick players without fouling them is far from easy. We expect the hosts to enjoy more possession and regularly threaten the opposition goal, forcing the visitors into tactical fouls. We are therefore backing Al-Wasl to receive more yellow cards.
