Chelyabinsk are making their return to the First League for the first time in 12 years, and the club's management have taken a serious approach to ensuring they stay up. Over the summer, the squad was bolstered by nine new signings, highlighted by Danila Emelyanov, a central midfielder who joined from Neftekhimik for €77,000. These acquisitions aim to elevate the overall quality of the team, which is crucial when transitioning from the Second League, where the standards of play are significantly lower.
