Paris Saint-Germain Team Overview
It has been the champion's worst start in years: two points from three league rounds. First came the TrophƩe des Champions, lost to Lens (0-1), then draws at Rennes and Lille (both 2-2), and last round a home defeat to Monaco (1-2). On Wednesday that run was interrupted when PSG beat Slovan 6-1 in the opening matchday of the Champions League league phase. Ousmane DembƩlƩ scored twice, Ferran Torres got a hat-trick, and FabiƔn Ruiz added the sixth from a corner.
The problem for PSG is the same from one match to the next. They have now conceded in eight consecutive official matches, and Slovan were no exception: Souleymane Camara beat Matvei Safonov on 58 minutes. Marquinhos afterwards acknowledged that the team have questions to answer defensively. PSG have yet to win an away match in Ligue 1 this season, and between the Slovan game and the trip to Brittany they have four days and a flight across the entire country.

ā Captain Brendan Chardonnet has dropped out of the defence: the centre-back picked up an injury in August and is unlikely to be fit in time for the match against PSG. Mamady Diambou and Kenny Lala are also continuing their recovery.
