Now they are back in the competition, having come third in the German top flight.

- One of the main talking points in the Italian media on matchday has been who will start as Como's centre-forward in the club's debut Champions League match. La Gazzetta dello Sport believes Fabregas will drop Anastasios Douvikas - who has started all three of Como's official matches so far - in favour of Moise Kean, signed on loan from Fiorentina for €10 million.

❌ RB Leipzig have noticeably more problems with their squad. Castello Lukeba and Brajan Gruda are both doubts due to a muscle injury and a shin injury respectively. Rocco Reitz and Christoph Baumgartner are expected to return around the end of September, Rómulo is unavailable for approximately another one to two weeks with a knee injury, and Assan Ouédraogo will miss several weeks with a shoulder injury.
