- English media have paid particular attention to Emiliano Buendía when analysing Villa's likely starting XI for the match in Belgium. Football Insider noted that Emery may consider rotating his attacking line. Fotmob separately highlighted that in the match against Hull, Buendía contributed nothing in attack or in breaking down the opposition: two shots (both off target), zero chances created, two touches in the opposition penalty area, a pass accuracy of just 68%, and no aerial duels won from four attempted.
