Mattia Giordano vs Maximilien Vallot

👊 Mattia Giordano and Maximilien Vallot meet in a bout that could hinge on distance management and the timing of their attacks. Neither fighter can afford to let the other settle into a comfortable position for long, or they risk losing control of the round. The battle for the centre of the cage promises to be particularly intense, while effective takedown defence could allow either man to focus on striking. This contest will demand quick decisions as well as sustained activity.

We favour Mattia Giordano, who should look to take the initiative without being reckless. Steady pressure could force Vallot back towards the fence and limit his room to counter. The Italian will need to stay balanced as he closes the distance, though, to avoid giving up advantageous positions. If Giordano can maintain that approach, his chances of winning will improve. Our prediction: Mattia Giordano to win.
