Team Tidebound were formed at the beginning of 2025 and have essentially become the spiritual successors of the old LGD. Their roster includes scene veterans such as NothingToSay, shiro, y, planet, and Bach (formerly known as Faith_bian). Despite a rocky start to the season, the team quickly found their footing, confidently dismantling lower-tier opponents and even challenging top teams. Tidebound boast excellent discipline, strong macro play, and experience across all roles. Crucially, in the BO2 format, shiro and his teammates are particularly dangerous. This is not a team you can easily defeat without a fight-they are capable of snatching a map, even against the likes of Gaimin Gladiators, especially if NothingToSay is in form.

GG are a team that needs no introduction. With Quinn, Ace, tOfu, Malady, and watson, they boast a powerful and cohesive lineup that has consistently ranked among the world's best throughout the season. During the recent PGL Wallachia Season 5, the Gladiators cruised through the group stages to the finals without dropping a match, seemingly set to confirm their status as favorites. However, instead of triumph, they faced a crushing defeat at the hands of BetBoom. The first two maps were particularly painful to watch, as GG struggled to keep pace, faltered in their lanes, and made uncharacteristic mistakes. By the third map, the Europeans finally found their rhythm and displayed their true level, but the overall outcome of the final was disheartening-the skill gap was evident. Despite their experience, such a loss can shake a team's confidence. A temporary but significant factor could be their wavering confidence in drafts and coordination, especially against a team capable of posing late-game challenges.
