The Italian championship continues to gather pace, with Matchday 5 already next on the schedule. Napoli are also well below their usual position: they have only six points and sit 10th, an unusual place for a club that has won two Scudetti in the last four seasons. Parma and Genoa, who both produced respectable results for their level last season, are struggling badly for points so far.
