It feels as though the new Serie A season has only just begun, yet Matchday 4 is already taking place this week. Most of the top clubs, with the exception of Napoli, are still setting a very high standard. At the other end of the table, three teams have failed to collect a single point from their opening three matches. There is therefore plenty of intrigue ahead of the next round, with something worth following in every fixture.
Venezia vs Fiorentina
Matchday 4 opens with two teams that have made a frankly disastrous start to the season. After three matches, Venezia and Fiorentina are both still without a point and sit in the relegation zone. Following another defeat, the Viola even decided to change head coach, clearly determined to avoid a repeat of last season's scenario.
