Liverpool new signings 2025/26: Complete list of players to transfer to The Reds for next season
Despite winning the Premier League title last season, Liverpool remain competitive in the summer transfer market, as they believe there are some areas in their team that need upgrading.
The champions of England have already made some big signings in reaction to the number of quality players that have left the club, including Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid as a free agent.
Despite spending over 200 million pounds, the Reds are increasingly likely to bring in some fresh legs for the attacking positions, following the sudden death of Diogo Jota and the likes of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz still being linked with moves away from the club.
While the summer transfer market is still wide open for teams to trade players, Scores24 looked at the signings Liverpool have completed this summer ahead of what will be a difficult campaign starting in August.
Liverpool summer signings for the 2025/26 season
Jeremie Frimpong
Liverpool made no haste to find a quality replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer. Jeremie Frimpong joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee of £29m, having helped the Germans win the Bundesliga title without a defeat two seasons ago and also maintained his starting role as Bayer finished in 2nd place last term. Thanks to his performances with Bayer (30 goals and 44 assists in 190 games), the Anfield crowd wouldn’t miss TAA a lot.
Milos Kerkez
Arne Slot is already planning the future without Andrew Robertson, who will continue his football career away from Anfield, following his signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. The fullback was rated among the best left-back in England last term, and his arrival will obviously strengthen Liverpool’s defense, plus he’s familiar with everything the Premier League needs of a player. The 21-year-old defender cost Liverpool £40m for his services, and his contributions will run until 2030.
The German international became the most expensive player to move to the Premier League following his £115m move from Bayer Leverkusen. He is expected to join the likes of Marc Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in the midfield. The attacking midfielder has some expectations to meet in the Premier League after his scintillating performances in the last two seasons in the Bundesliga.
Other players the reigning champions have signed this summer are Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman.
