Outright Prediction by Scores24 for the top scorer of the Bundesliga 2026/2027

Harry Kane will become the top scorer

Odds: 1.40

The obvious choice. Harry Kane won the Bundesliga top scorer race for the third time in a row, scoring 36 goals in the 2025/26 season. This is not just the best result of the championship – the Englishman became the first player in the history of the Bundesliga who won the top scorer race in each of his first three seasons in Germany. Kane played 51 matches and scored 61 goals in all tournaments last season – for this he was awarded the European Golden Boot.

Even more indicative is his overall statistics in the championship after moving from Tottenham: 98 goals in 94 matches. That is, Kane practically maintains an average performance at the level of one goal per game. And most importantly, he is in a team that can create a huge number of opportunities for the forward. Bayern scored 122 goals in the last championship, so Kane does not need an individually outstanding season - it is enough to maintain the already familiar level of implementation.

Outright Scores24 predictions for Bundesliga teams

Stuttgart will make the top 4 at the end of the season

Odds: 3.55

The most interesting forecast we would give not to the newcomer, but to the team that has already proven its competitiveness, but is not yet considered one of the main contenders for the top spot. That's Stuttgart.

Last season, Sebastian Hoeness's team finished fourth and made it to the Champions League. At the same time, the squad did not undergo a major overhaul in the summer. Yes, Stuttgart lost Alexander Nübel, but retained most of its key players and strengthened the attack with Jenan Pejcinovic, Grisha Prömel, and Leo Sauer. The full signing of Bilal El-Hannus is particularly important: the Moroccan spent his first season at the club on loan, and now he has become a full-fledged player of the Swabians. Last season he scored 9+7 in all tournaments.

There is another factor – Sebastian Hoeness. During his tenure, Stuttgart has transformed from a team fighting for survival into a stable contender for the Champions League. And the coach is already openly talking about big ambitions in three tournaments – the Bundesliga, the Champions League, and the German Cup. However, Stuttgart does not look like a contender for the championship. Even the bookmakers give a modest 28% for repeating the success of the last campaign.

This is what makes the forecast interesting. We expect that the team will again regularly take points from opponents from the upper half of the table and will be able to take advantage of the instability of the same Leipzig and Leverkusen. In the end, our editorial team puts Stuttgart in the top-4 and does not rule out a fight for third place. For a team that was recently perceived as a project in the recovery stage, this will be a serious step forward.

Paderborn will be relegated from the Bundesliga

Odds: 2.10

The choice is less obvious in the fight for survival, but this is where it is worth taking a risk and going against the simplest scenario. Three newcomers to the league – Schalke, Elversberg, and Paderborn. At the same time, Paderborn is approaching the season after a very nervous promotion: the team finished third in the second Bundesliga and only in the playoff matches passed Wolfsburg. The winning goal in the return match was scored in extra time.

The main problem is that the promotion was not the result ofof a dominant season. Paderborn indeed showed strong streaks – eight victories in a row in the fall and ten matches without defeat in the spring, – but the team still finished the regular championship only third. In the off-season, the situation was further complicated by the loss of several important players, including Philipp Bilbija, one of the main attacking footballers of the past season.

The transition from the second Bundesliga to the elite does not mean automatic relegation. In the last seven seasons, only five out of 15 newcomers have been directly relegated. Therefore, I would not write off both Schalke and Elversberg in advance. Schalke actually looks the most prepared for survival: the club won the Second Bundesliga, and Miron Muslic has formed a quite understandable game identity – intensive, aggressive and pressure-oriented. Elversberg, on the other hand, can compensate for the lack of resources with the quality of its structure and the absence of pressure. Therefore, it is Ralph Ketterman's Paderborn that looks the most vulnerable among the newcomers.

Scores24's prediction for the Bundesliga 2026/2027 winner

Bayern will become the champion

Odds: 1.15

At the start of the new season, the intrigue around the championship race looks less sharp than one would like. Bayern remains the obvious favorite, and there are several reasons for this. Vincent Kompany's team won the last championship with a 16-point advantage, and its productivity became a separate story – 122 goals scored in 34 rounds. At the same time, the Munich team did not lose the core of the squad and continues to add quality selectively: this summer, Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown joined the team, and there are also Lennart Karl, Tom Bishop, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies.

It is especially important that Bayern is not in a stage of restructuring. Kompany has already spent two seasons at the club and won the championship twice in the first two campaigns. The game model is clear to the players, and the depth of the squad is still significantly higher than most competitors. Even possible personnel problems of individual players do not change the general situation: the coach has several options for almost every position.

On August 22, Bayern already defeated its main competitor - Borussia Dortmund (2-1) – in the German Super Cup. Dortmund does not yet have the same depth and stability that allows to go the distance without serious failures. Bayern will become the champion again and, most likely, will do it again with a double-digit advantage over the second place. In a recent survey of Bundesliga coaches, 11 out of 18 specialists also named the Munich team as the main favorite.

We understand that the odds for such an event are minuscule, but we do not want to deceive, artificially creating intrigue in the competition with Dortmund. Therefore, as an additional option, we offer the version with the productivity of the Munich team. Repeating the performance with an average productivity of 3.6 goals per game will be incredibly difficult. But even if this bar drops to three goals per game, thenThe Munich team could potentially score their hundred again. In that case, a great alternative option would be to bet on Bayern's total goals in the season to be over 99.5 with odds of 1.85*.
