Aston Villa and Liverpool will clash in a direct battle for 4th place, while Bournemouth will try to close the championship race, thus preserving their chances of qualifying for the Champions League. Aston Villa – Liverpool
The entire Friday slot will be taken by the contenders for the 4th spot. Aston Villa, who are set to play in the Europa League final next week, will host Liverpool, who have lost 5 of their last 6 away matches in all competitions. The "Reds" haven't lost to the "Lions" since that memorable thrashing in 2020 (2:7), that is, for 11 consecutive meetings. However, they have dreadful away records and a lengthy injury list. This characteristic primarily applies to Brighton – the "seagulls" are aiming for at least the Conference League, although they can also cling to the Europa League. And they surely remember the November rout from Brighton (0:3). This is an equal battle, in which a goal exchange, which has happened in 4 out of the last 5 matches involving the "peacocks", seems logical.

Two consecutive defeats have plunged West Ham into the relegation zone – the team is on the brink of the abyss. And it's very untimely for them to have a trip to the awakened Newcastle. We don't know if the "Citizens" will take the trophy, but we do know that the game against Bournemouth will be their fourth in the last one and a half weeks. The schedule is just crazy, as is the opponent, who has not known defeat in 16 rounds in a row. Unlike Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola will have plenty of time to prepare, so the "Cherries" may give the favorite a hard time. They have not lost by more than one goal in the last 18 home Premier League matches and should take advantage of their freshness to extend this streak.
