Jupiler Pro League Predictions 2024/25: Gameweek 24: 31/01-02/02

09 Feb, 13:35

Only Club Brugge among the top four teams in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League dropped points after a surprise home draw. However, they are eight points above third-placed Royale Union and three behind leaders Genk. Antwerp and Gent also dropped points in their battle for a top-six finish.

Beerschot seem to be destined for relegation after another defeat. Incidentally, all of the bottom ten teams failed to win in round 23, as the battle for relegation and a Conference League playoff spot is still wide open.

This week’s Jupiler Pro League gameweek 24 predictions were made based on current form, expert knowledge, and data.

Only 9% of Leuven’s fixtures in the league have seen four or more goals. Mechelen’s games have seen many more goals but still haven’t exceeded our expectations for this match. To illustrate, Mechelen’s 70% of games in the league produced under 3.5 goals. In addition, the average number of goals scored in Mechelen’s games is 3.04 goals per game.

Leuven vs Mechelen Prediction: Under 3.5 Goals

Playing at home, Charleroi covered the double chance in eight of their 11 games and in four of their last five games. Dender, on the other hand, extended their winless run to three games after suffering their second consecutive defeat at the hands of Standard Liege by 1-0 on the road. Dender failed against the double chance in five of their seven away games.
